THE DRIVING TEST IN Skegness

Varied road types can be expected during the driving test from Skegness Driving Test Centre. Rural country and village roads often integrate into the test from Skegness. The country road driving tutorial offers advice for these road types.

High speed ‘A’ roads such as the A158 and A52 are common place on the test routes. The in-town driving part of the test will incorporate traffic systems such as roundabouts, junctions and crossroads – a high standard is expected. Throughout the test, the examiner will request one of the four test manoeuvres (turn in the road being the most common).

The emergency stop is likely with a 1-in-3 possibility and expect around 10 minutes of independent driving. Test centre routes are designed by the examiners who conduct practical tests at their local test centre.

The routes are designed in such a way so to involve as many diverse roads and traffic systems as possible, often including very challenging parts. Gaining knowledge of the test routes provides valuable insight into the type of roads that will be taken during your test. Driving test routes may be available to view or a downloadable app for your mobile device in your area, including Skegness Driving Test Centre.

Don't know why people bother taking there test at skegness centre it's like they expect you to be able to drive at Examiner /DVSA standard not a learner and there marking is really quite harsh. And not really nice being given the same examiner time and time again why is there no different examiners at skegness mind you you have to wait months before you can book any of there tests anyway because there isn't any available it's ridiculous!
