A high level of knowledge, regard for other road users and safety will be expected. Residential areas often used for test manoeuvres and the emergency stop are used to assess passing distances, meeting oncoming traffic in confined areas etc.

10 minutes of independent driving will take place over the duration of the 30 – 40 minute driving test in Wallasey. Tips for passing the driving test at Wallasey is to check for driving test routes. Look for areas that are most likely to be difficult.

These are often large roundabouts, high speed roads and one-way-systems. Booking the driving test at Wallasey Driving Test Centre during quieter periods of the day will certainly be beneficial. These times are often between 10am and 4pm during the week. If the roads around the test centre are quieter during the weekend, check the test centre availability for Saturday tests.

Knowing each and every test route isn’t essential, though gaining an understanding of the particularly difficult areas of the test routes often proves beneficial. Examiners who conduct the tests develop the test routes for their test centres with the intention of taking the test candidate through as many varied road types and traffic systems as possible, within the time given. This is to ensure test candidates can deal with all situations and often involves difficult areas. Driving test routes may be available to view or a downloadable app for your mobile device in your area, including Wallasey Driving Test Centre.

absolute joke examiner. Paul has failed my sibling several times for minor things that my sibling claims didn’t happen. he also threatened my mother and sibling whilst he was shouting and pointing fingers at them. absolutely appalling behaviour with an amount of unprofessionalism i have never even heard of. failing my sibling and then losing his temper seemed very personal and we do believe it could’ve been discriminatory. I would not recommend taking your driving test here especially if you are a young woman. disgusting

I had David as my examiner and he made the whole driving test experience a great one and he passed me with 0 minors. I was naturally nervous leading up to my test but straight away i was put at ease with his kindness, patience and calming manner. Such a lovely guy, thanks Dave!
