Theory test candidates often need to contact their test centre often due to various issues. The most common issue is being late.
Unfortunately theory test centres do not provide a telephone number for candidates who have a test booked. They also do not make any telephone contact numbers publicly available.
Theory test bookings are not made or maintained by the theory test centres. This is done via the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), a government organisation.
Theory tests and test centres are conducted and run by Person Professional. Though there are no direct telephone contact numbers for the theory test centres, there are methods for contact.
Late for Theory Test
Candidates that are late for theory test bookings almost certainly result in being unable to sit the theory test and will also lose the test fee and have to book the test once again. There are often many test candidates who will sit the test at the same test centre at the time of your appointment. Due to this, the test centre staff are unable to wait for an individual who is late.
You are advised to reach the test centre around 30 minutes before your test starts in order to get you prepared. If you arrive close to your appointment time, you may be in luck as the staff may rush you through the preparation process and into the testing room providing the test has not initiated for other candidates.
Contacting the Theory Test Centres
If you still wish to contact a theory test centre and you are short of time, the best method is to call the DVSA. The DVSA do not manage theory test centres but will have direct contact access to them. The DVSA can be called Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. The telephone number provided is for general enquiries regarding the theory test and not for test bookings.

Alternatively you can contact Pearson Professional who manage the theory test centres. There is no contact number for Pearson Professional, only an email address.
