DRIVING SCHOOL INFORMATION

Hi, I’m Jon. I qualified as a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in March 2015 and immediately started Jon Holland Driving. Previously I worked in the Police where I completed the Police Standard Driving course. I am also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and a passionate Road Safety Advocate.

I firmly believe in a calm and methodical teaching style with achievable goals based on your own learning style and ability. Every student is different and each progresses at their own rate.

I teach using a modern 1.3 Litre Suzuki Swift Petrol. I feel this is a great car to learn to drive in because of the large mirrors and it is very nimble. It is ideal for driving both on the rural roads of Cambridgeshire and within the City of Cambridge. It is fitted with dual controls for those just in case moments, but also so I can physically explain things about the pedals.

I mainly cover a 25 mile radius of Ely. Some of the larger towns and cities include: Ely, Cambridge, Littleport, Downham Market, Soham and Newmarket. Please do get in touch for other nearby locations.

You can schedule and update lessons online or through an ‘app’ on your mobile phone. This also tracks your progress in all areas of driving, so you know how you are progressing at any time and where you should focus your improvements.
