THE DRIVING TEST IN Blackpool

Blackpool Driving Test Centre is situated in busy town roads. Complicated roundabouts, junctions and crossroads will be a feature of the driving test. Residential back-roads will feature and may prove hazardous due to narrow lanes and oncoming traffic.

Primary route ‘A’ roads such as the A587 and A586 will be likely. A sound knowledge of judging traffic speed upon entering such roads is essential. A possibility of the emergency stop and all 4 driving test manoeuvres should be learnt thoroughly.

To find out more information for the type of roads you will be taking from Blackpool Driving Test Centre, visit our driving test routes section to gain an understanding on the various road types and traffic systems you will encounter.

An examiner, Ian, is genuinely the most horrid examiner I have met in my life. This was my second test in Blackpool and both times I unfortunately I was placed with him. He is cold, unpleasant and doesn’t know how to be a human being towards pupils. It is guaranteed that a learner who’s taking their test is going to be nervous and his demeanour is dreadful. I’ve seen so many bad reviews about him and it evidently is for a reason. He needs to be sacked ASAP. He does nothing to make the pupil feel eased.

It's NOT the fact i failed but the fact there was no need for the instructor
To be as blunt and cold towards me .I was nervous as it was but the examiner tone did not help .I am human i have feelings she should not be allowed to talk to me in the manner she did
