Reset ŠKODA Fabia Tyre Pressure Warning Light

The ŠKODA Fabia tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will need to be reset after changing one or more wheels, changing the position of a wheel such as swapping wheels between axles or when adjusting tyre pressures. Resetting the system should also make the dashboard warning light go out. If the light remains on or flashes after using the guides below, there is a fault with the tyre pressure monitoring system.

How you reset the ŠKODA Fabia depends on which generation your vehicle is. Detailed below are guides for resetting the tyre pressure monitoring system for the ŠKODA Fabia Mk2 (second generation) and Mk3 (third and current generation).

  • The wheels of one axle are loaded more heavily (e.g. when towing a trailer or when driving uphill or downhill).
  • Snow chains are fitted.

  • One wheel per axle was changed.

What to do if the Tyre Pressure Light Comes on

If the tyre pressure warning light comes on, immediately reduce speed and avoid sudden steering and harsh braking. Stop your vehicle as soon as safely possible and inspect the tyres and inflation pressures.
