I have got a mk3 but with the clocks shown as mk2 above. What do I do -method stated as shown for my clocks does not work.

  2. Doug Collins

The instructions for the Fabia MK3 are missing a key step.
As instructed start with the ignition in the OFF position (doors closed)
But between steps 2 & 3 you need to turn the ignition to the ON position
You will not get the Reset prompts unless you do this.

When you see the prompt “Reset oil change service” release and re-press the Set [A] button
Keep the Set [A] button pressed
When you see the prompt “Reset inspection service” release and re-press the Set [A] button
Keep the Set [A] button pressed until the confirmation message clears
You have to respond while the prompt is displayed – if you respond too slowly just start again

I have a 59 plate Skoda Fabia 1.9 diesel. I had it serviced, but the service spanner came off after 1000 miles, instead of 10,000. This keeps happening the garage resets it then 1000 miles later it says it needs servicing again.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem, not had this problem until now.
