I've just passed my HGV class 1 test at weedon. I would like to say that my examiner Dave Roan was amazing at how he conducted the test, I was nervous at the start and he relaxed me and want to say thank you to him and he's a 10/10. Very nice man. Regards Guy

3 Attempts 3 Fails, To start with i am a proffesional Large Van Driver for more than 3 years,i know it is different than Cat C but not quite big difference in terms of handling etc, yes, you can argue ,, but you get the point,, , yet Examiners have failed me for very very silly reasons,, to pass Cat C it's like passing a Boeing 797 flying license, and maybe harder,,a little bit about examiners and the feel while you there: You wait to be called for your test you give them your driving license sign paper of you go then they ask you how would you like to be called etc..once inside truck,, 4 general questions about vehicle, load, safety, Off you go driving, you may do reversing first or last thing of your test depending how busy it is,,Instructors watch you,, observe you,, make you feel very uncomfortable, they are not friendly even know i had a very talkative examiner for my first test but still at the end all showed up,,Examiners are snobby,,not saying it because i failed but because it is what it is,,,

After test they tell you results,, and come up with silly arguments,, that don't really matter when you out was driving,, has nothing to do with reality day to day life,,, but anyway,, if you try speaking back,,, THEY KNOW IT ALL YOU ARE WRONG THEY ARE RIGHT THATS WHY THEY ARE INSTRUCTORS RIGHT? YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING i tried speaking back on my 2nd exam,, instructor switched to angry mode, said he has driven 1 million miles more than me,, i don't know anything. They are not doing their job properly as it should be done, i think there is some corruption going on within the passing rate...Plus no phone number of centre, there was no location, to find them on google maps, no working hours. I just want Justice for other people who are going to be victims of this centre, and i am going to share all information i get about this centre to make it visible on google maps and online, and maybe in the future it will change to better.

Passed today on my second attempt, the first fail was my own fault. The second time I went out was with Gary, excellent examiner. He put me at ease and made the whole drive comfortable, but professional. I respect his approach to the exam and although I passed he still took the time afterwards to explain my minors clearly and how to avoid them which I really appreciated.
