Driving examiners build test routes so to ensure each test candidate covers as many varied roads within the test centre radius. Cobridge Driving Test Centre is located in an area where the test routes will feature dual carriageways, entering and exiting on large multi-lane roundabouts and also rural roads where test candidates take to villages on the outskirts of Cobridge, Stoke.

These hazardous roads are challenging to most. The country road driving tutorial offers advice for novice drivers on these road types. Within the Cobridge area, traffic systems of all types will be taken including mini roundabouts, junctions and crossroads of varying types.

Your examiner will ask you to pull up on the left and request a test manoeuvre. They can choose which manoeuvre and the driving test will also include independent driving of which takes around 20 minutes. Your test may or may not include the emergency stop procedure. This procedure is required in one out of every four tests conducted.

Test routes often include difficult parts and by gaining knowledge of the routes offers valuable insight into what to expect on the test. Driving test routes may be available to view or a downloadable app for your mobile device in your area, including Cobridge Driving Test Centre.

When making a driving test booking, ensure you have at hand your theory test pass certificate number and your provisional driving licence. Whilst booking, the available times and dates free for making a test booking will be shown to you.
