Exeter Driving Test Centre

There are two practical driving test centres in Exeter. A test centre that provides tests for cars and motorcycles and a test centre for lorries (LGV).

Starting the driving test on the outskirts of Exeter, Exeter Driving Test Centre will feature rural roads that require good practice due to possible high speeds and difficult bends. Our country road driving guide offers both learners and experienced drivers advice for using these type of roads.

Busy town driving is also part of the test and will feature various roundabouts, both large multi-lane and mini roundabouts typically found in residential areas. Junctions and crossroads of varying types will also be included. One or possibly two test manoeuvres will be implemented and generally a 1-in-3 possibility of the emergency stop.

Gaining a good knowledge of the Exeter driving test routes will provide you with an insight into the various roads and traffic systems that the examiner will take you on.
