THE DRIVING TEST IN Lerwick

Lerwick Driving Test Centre is situated around rural roads where bends may be difficult to navigate due to oncoming vehicles. Rural road are often challenging to the novice driver often due to gaining an understanding of the safe and appropriate speed to use in conjunction with sharp corners. Our country road driving tutorial helps to address these issues.

Small village roads may have narrow and difficult areas which is a common area to fail driving test. The test examiner must choose one of the possible four test manoeuvres for you to demonstrate and often the emergency stop is requested.

Fast paced ‘A’ roads are also present such as the A970. Test routes are available for many of the test centres and may include Lerwick driving test routes. Viewing the test routes provide test candidates with an insight into the various types of roads and traffic systems they’re likely to encounter during the test.
