THE DRIVING TEST IN Sutton

The driving test from Sutton Driving Test Centre will feature many challenging roads and traffic systems. Roundabouts of all types are to be taken as are junctions and crossroads. The test will also feature residential streets that are ideal to test your ability at dealing with oncoming traffic whilst driving on narrow streets or lanes and passing parked cars.

Residential roads are often used for test manoeuvres due to being slightly quieter. The examiner will also be testing you on busy ‘A’ roads. The test is to include one of the potential four manoeuvres along with the emergency stop procedure having a 1-in-3 possibility of being requested.

All practical tests now include around 20 minutes of independent driving. The test routes are compiled by the examiners who conduct the tests at each specific test centre. Test routes are compiled to utilise as many varied road types and traffic systems as possible so to ensure the test candidate is proficient in all aspects of driving.

Test routes often include difficult parts and by gaining knowledge of the routes offers valuable insight into what to expect on the test. Driving test routes may be available to view or a downloadable app for your mobile device in your area, including Sutton Driving Test Centre.

That was my 3rd attempt with Sutton Test Center and their team and unfortunately I failed. I just want to say that Examiner Kyp and Rob are very nice professional and helped me to calm my nerves on my first and second test. Even I did not pass I understood their feedback. Experience with Examiner Paul wasn't nice I had the feeling that he wants to fail me. He gave me very hard bit one(compare with two test i had before)after another and he caught me (this is how I felt)almost in the end of my test. Instead of help me to stay calm he makes me feel the pressure. I'm done with this Center and I hope I never meet someone like Paul again.

AVOID THIS TEST CENTRE - one start for this test centre is an understatement. I would like to see the pass rate for this driving test centre and the individual driving instructors. if you are about to book your test please do read the below feedback. This driving centre is the worse I ever experienced. I am a professional driver that has UK and International Class 1 driving licence. I followed my daughter when she had her test the instructor from Sutton has told her to turn left at a roundabout when she was in right lane, confused her completely as a new driver it doesn't take much. Instead of telling her you didn't follow my instruction go around the roundabout and turn left that way he insisted she turns left there and then. She had no minor and he failed her. Its a money making test centre.

Had Kyp as my examiner, charming man. Had my test at 7:23am and thought anyone would be moody at that time but not at all, passed my test and I couldn't be happier! Thanks Kyp!

Just failed my third driving test here because of a minor fault in each one. The examiners are rude and racist and only want more money. STAY CLEAR FROM SUTTON TEST CENTRE.
