Enfield Driving Test Centre
There are two practical test centres based in Enfield. One test centres provides tests for car and motorcycles, the other for lorries, buses and cars with trailers.
Rural country roads may also be featured. Rural roads usually appear quiet but can be challenging due to the potential high speeds combined with difficult corners. The country road driving tutorial offers advice on how best to use such roads.
Having a good knowledge of test route roads close to the test centre will be of significant benefit. The examiner will require one or perhaps two manoeuvres with a one in three chance of performing the emergency stop.

I fiinally past my test after waiting for lockdown to finsh and I had steve. He was very nice and calm tester and i had to deal with lots of cars and other traffic and was very busy. Carpark was shut and we had to start and finish in the main road and was difficult with lorrys but i am so happy now i past..
I had examiner nikki with pink hair. I fail but she such a nice lady. She was not angry like others can be. She keep me calm and explain things in kindness. Next time hope I pass.
Test car park shut and you have to move off scary with big lorries
Test Center is currently closed for parking but you have to wait outside in the main road,
Tried to speak to the Branch Manager Peter but he is very rude and said there is nothing that he can do and DVLA do not have to provide this service. He didnt care and just walked away.
I have Steve for my driving exam and he past me. Very calm and makes you feel calm. Traffic was all everywhere and busy but i past and I am really happy to pass here after I tried wood green.
Did my Module 1 there, examiner was great, strict, but efficient, clear with all instructions, also reassuring which just exactly what a student needs under stressful conditions.
Module 2 failed twice. First time for good reason. The examiner's cold manner was really unnerving, but he was fair by all means. I knew I failed the second I made the bad judgement.
Second time on the other hand the examiner failed me on things which I judged perfectly safe and would do again in a heartbeat.
1. Overtaking parked cars with oncoming traffic. 20 mph area, I was in my lane, (the oncoming traffic was in theirs) and had at least an arm length on either side of me.
2. Forcing a vehicle to slow down when changing lane. I didn't. I did a shoulder check, saw the vehicle approaching, put my indicator on, in the mirror I saw the car dropping back to give me space to move in, did a life saver and moved over.
I feel these were not even dodgy, let alone dangerous.
I will try in a different place next time, because I am way too nervous to go with them again.
