Pontypridd Driving Test Centre is situated around rural roads where bends may be difficult to navigate due to oncoming vehicles. Rural road represent some of the most dangerous and challenging roads within the UK often due to speed and harsh corners. The country road driving tutorial offers advice.

Small village roads may have narrow and difficult areas which is a common area to fail driving test (see passing parked cars). Fast ‘A’ roads are also present such as the A470 and are likely during the test.

The driving test from Pontypridd Driving Test Centre will last around 30 – 40 minutes where 10 minutes will be reserved for independent driving. Test centre routes are designed by the examiners who conduct practical tests at their local test centre. The routes are designed in such a way so to involve as many diverse roads and traffic systems as possible, often including very challenging parts.

Gaining knowledge of the test routes provides valuable insight into the type of roads that will be taken during your test. Driving test routes may be available to view or a downloadable app for your mobile device in your area, including Pontypridd Driving Test Centre.

Many of the practical driving test centres within the UK operate five days per week. Rural based centres that are quiet may provide tests on a part-time basis only. Tests are booked via telephone or over the internet.

Practical driving tests can be booked over the telephone via an automated service. To book a test at Pontypridd Driving Test Centre, see the book a driving test section for booking contact telephone numbers. Throughout the UK practical driving test centres, pass rates vary. Small test centre and was able to park ok. Had my test here today and passed. The examiner was such a polite gentleman who made me feel so at ease. He was precise and professional throughout my test would like to say a big thank you I think his name was Gareth Watkins but not 100% on that.
