Sheffield Driving Test Centre
There are two practical driving test centres in Sheffield. One test centre conducts tests for cars, the other conducts tests for cars and large vehicles (LGV).
These traffic systems will be testing your ability to understand how they work and regard to other road users. Quieter residential roads are often taken. These roads can be difficult for learner drivers as they are often narrow and can be hazardous due to oncoming vehicles.
Examiners often test your ability for dealing with oncoming vehicles whilst passing parked cars on residential areas. High speed ‘A’ roads including dual carriageway systems are frequently taken. The testing examiner will request one test manoeuvre at any time during the test and the possibility of the emergency stop procedure is 1-in-3.
The independent part of the driving test will require around 10 minutes. The Sheffield driving test routes may be available for Sheffield Driving Test Centre. These test routes will gain an understanding of the various roads that the examiner will require on the day. Study the difficult areas to gain the best chance of passing the driving test first time.
