THE DRIVING TEST at Kings Heath (Cocks Moors Woods)

Kings Heath (Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre) Driving Test Centre is a temporary site initiated to bring driving test waiting times down. This test centre is located very close to the permanent Kings Heath Driving Test Centre and as such will feature many of the same roads and routes.

As with the main testing facility, expect very busy roads such as the A435, multi-lane roundabouts and traffic systems. As the test centre is located on the outskirts of Birmingham, there’s a possibility that the routes may take you into outer villages. See country road driving tutorial for tips on rural roads on the test.

Dual carriageway sections usually make up part of the test routes is available within the area, so expect to be taken along the A435 (Hollywood Bypass) during your test. Independent driving will take around 20 minutes from the 40 minute driving test.

As this site is situated very close to the main Kings Heath Driving Test Centre, expect the test routes to be almost identical to those. See Kings Heath driving test routes for further information. New 2019 test routes for sat nav and other navigation devices have been added for Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre.

I recently passed my driving test at Cocks Moors test centre. My examiner was Lisa and I just wanted to say how lovely she was and a massive thank you to her! She made me feel at ease & gave me the confidence to finish my test with only 4 miners. Thank you Lisa! 🙂
